No, he ain't the only one so I guess that means I ain't cool either  As a wee lad I started on Colt single actions, all belonging to uncles and by the time I was old enough to buy my own I turned to Rugers. There are a few double action revolvers and a smidgen of autoloaders in .22, .32 (a gift), and .45. Expect to stay about the same ratio from now on.

I don’t. bought the wife a LC 380 so close , but still no 9 . I like my revolvers and for self defense I’ll take a 38+p or better yet a 357.

I own a couple CZ-75B guns. They do get used once in awhile, but my single action rugers are my cup of tea!
my flattop has a 9mm cylinder that has been tried as well.... 8)

I have a Beretta 92FS and stocked up on a lot of ammo for it. Then one day, I went into a gun shop and there was a Blackhawk 357 / 9mm in the case. Needless to say, I purchased it.

Never came across one that I felt I had to have.

I don't own one but my wife does - a S&W Shield. It's a nice little gun and has been utterly reliable through about 600 rounds. I've had 9s in the past, mostly Browning Hi-Powers, which I love, but don't have one right now.

I just bought a sub 9. I purchased a S&W Shield EZ. It's a .380. It will be my sole carry gun in the future due to arthritis. If I have to use it and it doesn't do the job I've instructed my wife to post a copy of my obit on the forum.

For some reason I never got on the 9mm bandwagon either and at this stage of my life (I'll be 70 on my next birthday) I doubt that I will.....when it comes to centerfire semi auto handguns I prefer my 1911's in 45 ACP.

I like FT’s, BlkHk’s, SW da’s, HiPwrs, and 1911’s. But I love Glock19. Loaded with right ammo, plenty lethal. 15+1 and right size for me. Main thing it nevers fails to go bang. Ugly, blocky, dont worry bout the blueing or the nice grained grips! Have cleaned mine w waterhose. Never fails to go bang. I do love G19’s!

I’ll admit that the Hi Power I used was a great handgun. If I were to use 9mm that’s the pistol I’d be using.

It’s the cartridge that I have issues with.

Well, I LIKE my SR9 and my usual carry, my SR9c; both have been reliable shooters over the years and I see no reason to go bigger or change to some other brand or model.

I guess I now make it two without a 9mm. I'm down to a couple of .22 target pistols and the .380. I do still have my Mini14, Mini30 and 10/22 but I'm down to six firearms now. But they all get used, for Bullseye for the two .22s and plenty of range time on the others. I don't have a lot of firearms any more but I practice with all of them over the span of a month. Fewer guns, better familiarity with them all.

My first 9mm was a S&W Model 39. What a POS (poor overall shooter). Dumped it and next one was a well used Glock 17L Gen 1. Now I've got 5 4 Glocks and a S&W Stainless I swapped a 22 revolver for.
