I am saddened. Steve was a great person. He made everyone he met feel important.

I will miss him. Jon

I first met Steve many years ago,, and he was always a super nice guy. He will be missed.

I recall once how I knew he had John Bianchi as part of his booth to promote his books. I came with a poster that John had done years before,, to get him to sign it. Steve had not seen these posters,, (there were 6 of them,) and wanted one. I had a spare & sent it to him.

Steve's Blue Book is a great reference that has helped thousands of gun folks. May he RIP & my sincerest condolences to his family.

That’s a shame. May his memory be a blessing to those left behind.

Always a Gentleman, a quick smile, and open to discussion even when busy. Always available or would return your call. The Blue Book is a valuable tool and a number of us have provided various product values over the years. Rest easy my friend.....Will meet you at The Big gun Show some time in the future....please save me a chair at your table..............Splitz

Big loss to the gun community. I heard him on Tom Greshams show not long ago. RIP

Hi,

I have no personal memories to relate about Steve, but have heard many good things about him over the years. RIP, Sir!

Steve was a bit of a character. You never quite knew what he was thinking - or what he would do next! I first met him when I was fourteen. He was managing a music store in town and my older brother worked for him. He was always very generous with his time. Always polished and professional. A natural salesman.

Years later I opened a sporting goods store in town. I called Steve and asked him for his help in securing relations with several major firearms manufacturers. He did. Additionally, I invited Steve to the grand opening. Steve was there for me - the grand opening was a HUGE success. It wouldn't have been the same without him.

Steve was someone you could rely upon. Just a great person. I will sincerely miss him. This may sound a little strange but I have lost people in my life I was closer to but none that I miss more than Steve.
