Well, the spring time fishing at least for my son, has been great so far. I've gotten a few perch, and one heck of a rock bass, they tend to run maybe 8-9 inches long and 1/2 a pound. This one I caught was 2 ounces shy of going to the state to enter for an award and was the largest I've seen lengthwise.

My son though has been hammering on trout ever since Mother's Day weekend. He caught his limit that weekend and then last weekend he caught two really nice rainbow and he was able to get both of them in himself. It's early yet in the season but we're filling the freezer up and there's room for more.

Nice for sure. The ones in the top picture are some nice Brooks.
As a DIE HARD Trout fisherman my advice is you don't put the Classic Trout on a metal stringer meant for Bass or Catfish and Rock Bass. That is why they make Creels for Trout :D :D :D

Good job. Were you casting from your front porch as many others may be doing these days?
The only fishing I've been doing is checking the overflow for fish that went out the spillways.
