There has been a commercial running a lot lately that ends with a Jimi song.

A couple days ago my wife asks me "Was Jimi Hendrix gay?" I look at her say "no, why are you asking?" She replies "then why does he sing 'Scuse me, while I kiss this guy?"

Likely the most opposite of gay. Send me your James Marshall Hendrix questions if you will.

Fans know he knew what the lyric sounded like. It's obvious with his verbal fills live. He used to make funnies when in a good mood.

I am a big "James Marshall Hendrix" fan myself.

Although, I think "Stevie Ray" was a little better guitar player.JMO

Yeah, except Jimi did it first, paving the way for Stevie and others...

Hi,

Private James M. Hendrix, 101st Airborne, US Army:

Not exactly the Army's best soldier, the details of his discharge are better left to individual research!

SRV is awesome, but if I listen to Angel or Little Wing, Jimi kicks ass in every way. So creative and innovative.

SRV was a great musician. his bass player was from my hometown; makes me very proud but like wolfsong said Jimi Hendrix was the 1st & heavily influenced Stevie; FYI .......Jimi's real name was Johnny.

Jimi was inconsistent... He never had time to mature before the dope got him.

But SRV ... Now there's another story. He showed us what Jimi might have become.
