I dunno about moochelle as a presenter at the Oscars. I don't remember Laura Bush or hillary klinton, etc....Is this a new normal now? I thought they were focusing on "entertainment" last night, why do they gotta throw in more politics?

Trying desperately to maintain the support of the Hollywood lefties for her hubby's actions.

Personally I never watch that crap, but at least she didn't go there in person. Could you imagine the Oscars as run by the secret service?

There's enough people complaining about the traffic jams when the Bozo himself flies into LAX.

I regard the Oscars as one big circle-jerk.

Wow, the Zeroes just have to stick their noses into everything, don't they?

"Look at us! Aren't we just the awesomest?!"

Yet another reason I'm glad I once again skipped the Oscars. Although with FLOTUS in attendance, I'm surprised that the level of smug liberal douchebaggery on display didn't achieve critical mass and collapse into its own singularity of sheer suckitude...

Hear, hear! I couldn't care less who won anything. If one of the better-looking actresses falls out of her dress, wake me up; otherwise, YAWN!

Hi,

Lessee here:

Sesame Street, check. "I never thought I'd be on Sesame Street with Elmo and Big Bird and I was thrilled. I'm still thrilled. I'm on a high. I think it's probably the best thing I've done at the White House."

http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Michelle_Obama

Oscars, check. Any earth moving quotes yet from that experience?

What's next? Jerry Springer? As for dressing her up and taking her out in public, the woman would be a challenge even to Prof. Henry Higgins.

There were political comments throughout the telecast. I was so happy that Komrade Fonda could be there. Image

Is it any different than some notable throwing out the first pitch on opening day?

They probably contacted her. You can tell the negative people here by their comments and reactions.

I'm not negative, just realistic . . . I recognize a political ploy when I see one.
