Come and get 'em !! Cajun Turtle Burgers !!
Yes, my arteries are hardening a bit just looking at them, but creative cooking and fun conversation pieces at the next cookout.
Begin with a hefty beef patty. Wrap with a bacon weave, for the "shell". For the low fat version, you can use turkey bacon.
Next, some strategic placement of hot dog pieces, and split hot dog ends with a knife to simulate the claws. Grill to perfection.
ENJOY !! _________________ Regards - MD

My hero! I genuflect in your direction. Add a beerand you have all four food groups. Iron chefs must bow to your skill. Emeril isn't even in your class. This time drool killed my keyboard, not coffee. What time is dinner? Do you have Smell-O-Vision? _________________ Gravity is not only a law, it's a really good idea.

I'm making some of those this weekend!!!!
Awesome.
My Gastroenterologist has me on a high fat, low residue diet. These would fit the bill quite nicely!!

I love them... They are so cute. Was asked to submit them into the cook book. What is your thoughts - based on the fact that I cannot include photos. Will it loose something in the translation? _________________ Everything I know I learned from my dad; some of it was what to do, and some of it was what not to do...

Hi, Amanda
Just one person's opinion, of course, but the pictures tell the story for me.
