Hi just a heads up the gun is NOT FOR SALE dont know what the dealers up to but I was told the owner took it back I went thru the buy it now then was told the price was to cheap then was told I could have it for a higher price that he set I agreed now he says the owner dosnt want to sell
does somthing smell here Evil or Very Mad

I wonder how many other guys are getting the same story

Sounds like the seller is to be called what you get when you stick yourself lightly with a pin.......I really dislike that behavior, whether guns, manure, nails, potash or steak....Suppose someone whispered in his ear... Mad

I have had that happen to me Twice on GA with consigned guns.
Sucks!! But me bitching does not get the gun!! Oh well moved on down the road to the next one I guess. Thanks for the info GRAMPS 51.

I was the first caller on this gun last week (also hit the Buy It button but that means nothing) and got the story that I was 10 minutes too late, the shop owner had just talked to the consignor who had decided not to sell it. At that time, there was no higher price option, maybe he added that later. Shop owner told me the consignor was an Iraq war vet who owned several nice guns and brought 3 in to sell the day before but only retracted this one. He didn't know why at that point. He said if I had called 10 minutes earlier, he would have sold it to me and told the owner that he was too late. Shop guy sounded like a straight shooter so I tend to believe he was between a rock and a hard place, but he also took quite a while to close the listing.

HI I actuly took a ride up there to see if it was for sale in the store it wasnt there in the display case but he said that he had a ton of stuff in the back I asked about any other rugers he said he didnt have any others I was trying to feel him out he was short with me on the phone but nice in the store I dont think I will do business there again
