Most important thing is you are ALIVE!! and the reason being is
that you were smart enough to go armed. I would think that would be the norm for where you live.
No doubt Gods Hand was on you that day!!

Wonder where Disney is today??? Oh,, they are planning more Bambi type flics to "educate" our kids on how nice & cuddly our wildlife is.
Folks,,, this is real life. It's sad that any wildlife gets to the point that old bear was in,,, but it's good that the person involved wasn't hurt. All too often,,, it doesn't happen that way.

Glad you survived, what an experience! And you are right about covering 20 yds in 1 second, people just don't realize how fast a bear can move. That 454 will be/should be on Rugers front cover!
