Put a extension to try out and so far i like it. Notice what i done with the gap between mag base and grip...3/32 o ring worked good. use that for a while and see how i like it, it also made the mag more secure and gun cycled good.
The sites i played around with. I know its a point n shoot weapon for close defense but i put these nitesiters on it and so far its better than without. Let me know what ya all think. thanks.

Beetle, where's my finder's fee?
Glad you went ahead and made the upgrades. Now how about an Uncle Mike's slip on grip to hide the gap so you won't have to worry about inserting an O ring (by the way be careful with that O ring - you don't want it to interfere with the functioning of the mag in any way. Enjoy, you done good. |

Prob wont keep the o-ring as ya never know it could interfear with mag inserting i guess. Ok gona say it ( hate to admit when im wrong ) YOUR RIGHT! |

Not to worry Beetle. I'll be the one to be wrong next time. Frankly, I am not big on the O ring fix to hide the gap. I think it's one more thing to wind up in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'd much prefer you use the Uncle Mike's grip. Not only does it look like it was tailor made for the LCP but it also hides the gap nicely. The Unlce Mike's slip on grip (small) is available from many online retailers - just do a Google. I also posted extensively on the nitesighter dots if interested, just use the search feature. Below is my LCP with the UM slip on grip (and Bersa Thunder .380 finger ext.) in an RJ Hedley LH pocket holster originally purchased for a P3AT years ago, not a perfect fit for the LCP but it takes a nice photo . I have a Hidden Holster custom pocket holster for my LCP on its way as we speak. I highly recommend both Hedley and Hidden Holsters for your LCP holster needs. My UM slip on grip was bought a long time ago for my P3AT - I have no idea where I got it from. Again, do a Google and check Ebay.

I think the nitesighters will add to your enjoyment at the range - you'll find that they aid in the accuracy department. But you are right - this is a point and shoot weapon not intended to shoot the eyelashes off a flea at 100 yards. |

Galls and Product Wizard are a reliable outfits (I have ordered from both in the past) but they all get you on $ shipping on a low cost, lightweight item. Check Ebay. You can usually do better on the shipping. Butler Creek and Uncle Mike's are the same grip. You want the small size. I would order two as long as they are going to ream you on the s/h and it's nice to have an extra in case one rips (not common but it happens). And as you've discovered they aren't that easy to find.
Re the Nitesighters....a little tip: take a pointed toothpick and apply a tiny drop of liquid SuperGlue to the side of each dot. Let the tiny drop of SuperGlue seep underneath the dot and wipe off any excess. This will make the dots virtually permanent (in other words, they ain't gonna fall off) despite repeated exposure to solvent, oil, etc.

Hello Beetle. I ordered my uncle Mikes slip on grip from www.thegunsource.com it is called butler creek universal slip on small #50541 when you get grip at bottom it will say Uncle Mikes. I ordered it 8/4 monday got it 8/9 sat. total was $13.09 I thought was a little pricey but shipping is where they get you and I could not find locally. I am now, when I get around to it going to order a bersa finger rest from condors flight. I credit Kraigester for my doing this to my lcp cause I really liked the way his looks. Thanks Kraigster. I hope this helps you beetle.

You are welcome Indy. By the way, check out the thread I just started in the semi-auto room on the NAA finger extension and the LCP. Some like the looks and feel of it best. A lot of us have them on our Keltec P3AT's. I didn't t think they would fit the LCP without a little trimming of the spring base plate but they do. |

I heard some one at the range say they thought the Keltec P3AT magazines would work in the LCP. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?
Thanks,
