Yesterday, as we all know now, the federal court ruled to block the more "effective" parts of SB 1070.

Last night, a LifeNet helicopter went down in Tucson. From what I've heard, the crew was killed.

Also last night, a Chandler, Arizona law enforcement officer was killed in an undercover drug bust. Another officer is in critical condition after being shot, and a third is in stable condition.

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the LifeNet crew, the officers, and their families.

It was truly a day of loss for citizens and leaders in Arizona.

Sad indeed. My sympathies to those who sacrifice in the name of public safety.

To a point this is true. If he'd just do what he's supposed to (enforce the border) much of this may not have happened.
