Good for her. Score one for the good guys and gals. It's kinda symbolic that one of the BGs had a screwdriver because now they are officially SCREWED.

There appear to be contradictions in the story. Case in point, she shot one of the BG's in the torso before her weapon cleared her purse. Later in the story it says both BG's were beating her and trying to get the gun away from her. So I guess the shot to the torso didn't put the shot BG down. While those two BG's were struggling with her and trying to get her clothes off her boyfriend was somewhere else in the apartment? She screamed when all of this stuff started going down you would think the boyfriend would be out in a heartbeat.

On the face of it, I'd say it was a good shooting, but I'm confused by the rest of the story as written.
