I finally got all my CCW paperwork and $$$ in order and applied for my CCW permit with St. Louis County on 10/29

I know it can take up to 45 days...

Anyone elses take less time????

45 days is a decent time - most of the time it is written for the politians to give them a max time when the law first passes. As a mature CCW state Ohio takes 2 weeks, Florida still takes several months - but I hear that they stripped thier staff out with the latest budget cuts.

Three different guys I work with (here in Missouri) all got theirs within 14 days.

Mine took only a few days but that was years ago. My license was #22 in my county. As a FFL holder and Federal employee, my background check didn't take much effort.
