Howdy folks. I am new here. What an interesting site. Very informative. I have been a firm believer in the sheer durability and reliability Rugers for many years. I currently own 3. I bought my first 1 in 1988 .. a blue 10/22 after 21 years it still looks and shoots like new. I liked the rifle so much that this year { 2009 } I bought an identical stainless model. In 1993 I purchased a P 89 pistol that I keep with me most of the time. The pistol has never jammed or misfired. I look forward to a positive experience on this site. _________________ +P ammo is my peace sign |

Well hi there Manhattan,
Welcome to the forum. I second the motion of your theory on the durability of Rugers. Likely the most well built handgun line in current production, imo.
That's a pretty good record with that P89. Cherish that one, its a keeper.
There is plenty of 10/22 talk in the forum so look around a bit, post questions, respond to some questions, mix it up a bit.
