mmm, yes, like body work. however if you jack that up you can add more bondo and try again. whats the best way to hold the revolver while working? just on a table with a towel? clamps? wood chocks?...........

just got revolver, circa 1980s. how does one judge the cylinder "tightness" or "lockup"? how much play in the cylinder should there be? Can a range be measured? What part or mechanism controls this and wears out?

hey hear what you saying bout the finish, only needed to be done what really needs to be done. but....just got a fairly nice stainless. it has a little "pitting" in the frame, only about 2 mm wide, but its right above the cylinder. it sticks out like zit on a pretty girls face. Whats the recipe...

hey yall, thanks for those insights. I am a real novice with revolvers and/or gunsmithing. This sounds like a good purchase for someone who knows more than I or who is really into gunsmithing. Its a security-six 357. I guess for the right price it could be worth it as a learning oppurtunity...
