I tried 9.0g of unique and 16.0g of 2400 under a 255lswc bullet over a CCI300 primer. The 2400 load averaged 998 and 1012 out a 5 1/2 vaquero and 5 1/2 New Model Blackhawk. The Unique load averaged 974 out of the Vaquero and 975 out of the NMBH. The Unique load shot more accurately out of NMBH...

I have to defend Lee. I got a Lee turret press back in 1991 and have been loading .357mag, .45colt, .44mag and 45-70 cartridges on it. I have loaded at least 5000 45colt alone. It's never let me down and the Lee people are the best support system.
