My LCP Custom also had a poor trigger (stiff and gritty) pull. Replaced it with a RTK Sweet Pea III trigger. Love it now.

RTK and/or Galloway Triggers have a drop-in trigger to improve the LC9. Here's my KT P3aT with the RTK Sweet Spot trigger.

I haven't shot the LCR 9mm, but my LCR 38 kicks pretty good with these Hogue Tamer grips. For me, the 158gr JHP +P's were brutal, while the 125gr JHP +P's were much easier on my hands. Love the XS big dot night sight.

I have owned two PPK's in the past and favor my LC9s over it. For those of you that have the flat recoil plug, you can contact Ruger Customer Service and they'll send you a tapered one for free. :D

Me too. I initially had the pinky extensions on mine, but found I shot better with the flat-based mags.

I picked-up 2 promags for my LC9s. Both were very difficult to insert, seat and had to be pried out by hand. From now on, I'll stick with the Ruger magazines.

I haven't shot the SP101, but have put over 1000 rounds thru my LCR22. Nice lite, compact 8 shot 22, but it does have a hefty trigger pull.
