I have a couple “promags”. Definitely not original quality and I had to modify the pin holes and replaced the follower to get them reliable. If your really going to use the mags I would say go with originals.

I've picked up a couple Pro-mags from cheaper than dirt. Had to replace the follower and they work great now.

I picked up my mini sans accu-strut and groups were so so. I installed the strut x-drill and groups did tighten. I didn't take measurements or anything but I think it helped. I use iron sight usually around 100yds. Fun as hell to shoot!

I recently picked up a new 10/22 and day 1 at the range the rear sight fell off, literally slid right out of the dovetail. Not 5 minutes on the phone and they had a new and better one on the way, I was happy.

Nice little scope, mine was delivered last week. Nice clear view and smooth diopter. The 1 thing I didn't like are the screws holding the top ring mounts, just crazy cheap. Easy to swap them out with some stainless hex head I had laying around. Easy to dial in and seemed to hold it there. Good luck!

Hi, how about a picture of the gas pipe and front of the operating rod after a few rounds without cleaning. Has the rifle ever cycled correctly?

I'm happy to say that the replacement guard stayed right in place through 90rds yesterday at the range. Thanks for everyone's input.

Thanks DGW, do you notice an accumulation of gas between the open sights during steady fire using the Choate? After finishing a honeydew home project I'm ready to get to the range, test my new Handguard and add another clip if needed.

Thanks Hawkeye, When I noticed it getting loose I did take a pair of padded vice grips and pinched the clamp tighter and that immediatly helped it out. The new handguard CM&T sent me fits exactly like the old one, and that is, you mentioned, without the clamp fully seated on the barrel but like...

My Choate handguard cliped on tight when new but got very loose after 60rds. The nice folks at CM&T sent me another without plinking an eye. The new one is exactly like the old one in fit. Anyone with any experience with this?
