    LCP or LC-9?

I find the LCP slide difficult to rack and the gun unpleasant to shoot. It is easy to carry and conceal, however. Tom

    LCP or LC-9?

You apparently are unfamiliar with the Walther PPS. It's about the same size as the LC9, chambered for the same cartridge, and designed for exactly the same tactical mission. The PPS is more expensive, but it's worth every penny. Tom

    LCP or LC-9?

A few years ago, I responded to the siren song of the subcompact 9 by buying a Walther PPS. That handgun exudes quality. From my point of view, it's the best of the breed. I don't carry it much because I prefer either my Beretta 85 or SIG P232. But I recommend the Walther PPS to anyone looking...

    LCP or LC-9?

Why don't you consider the LC380, as well? It's the best of both worlds. Tom

    LC380 trigger

I haven't read much about its reliability. Have you shot it yet? Tom

    LC380 trigger

Does the LC380 have the same, long trigger pull of the LCP? Thanks! Tom

    Ruger LC380

I'm a clay shooter, and I'm still scratching my head about the price of 28 ga. and .410 ammo: They're much more expensive than 12 and 20 ga., yet use less of every component. I like 9mm, but I don't trust the subcompact guns. If I were to carry 9mm, it would be in a Glock 19 or Beretta 92. Tom

    Ruger LC380

Of the many dozens of handguns I've shot of nearly every caliber, I shoot the Beretta 81 series the best. That's why my daily carry gun is my Beretta 85, backed up by my S&W 642 Airweight. My Beretta 85 is loaded with Hornady Critical Defense, and my 642 is loaded with Golden Saber 125 gr. +P. I...

    Ruger LC380

Once again, a guy at a gun shop proves that a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. There is no-- I repeat, no-- scientific evidence that one handgun caliber is a better stopper than another. One of the good things about the LC380 is that because it's the normal size for the caliber...

    First to see the LC9

Thanks for the review. Very informative. Now I really want an LC9. Tom

    First to see the LC9

Maybe you're right. I do want one real badly. It will have to be quite a piece, however, to replace my fine SIG 232 as my daily carry gun. Nonetheless, I have an LCP that I use when I need real deep concealment, and I intend to buy an LC9 after I have a chance to read a few reviews and postings...

    First to see the LC9

I'm interested in buying an LC9, but I'll wait until the recalls are over. Tom

    Glock 26 vs. Ruger SR9c vs. S&W M&P9c

I agree. I own a Blade-Tech IWB for nearly every handgun I own. They are the best. Tom

    Glock 26 vs. Ruger SR9c vs. S&W M&P9c

I have a Baby Glock (the G33 in .357 SIG), and I like it a lot. But I'd be just as happy with the Ruger and S&W you're considering. The Ruger is an attractive pistol and feels great in the hand. It's not blocky like the Glock. The truth is, I've read about so many failures and successes with...
