Not a revolver and not a Ruger ?

Galaxiedan, did your rifle come with the wood that color? I have the same rifle but the wood is a very dark, almost black, stain. I remember seeing an article a few years ago about changing it, but have not been able to find it.

    Redhawk question

I tried 300 gr. loads after shooting some 240's, once. Will reserve those for my full size RH.

    Redhawk question

I have one and find it a joy to shoot with all but the heaviest of loads. Probably have less than 100 rounds through it but hope to change that as I have more time to get out.

    Thinking about an SP101

I put the soft Hogues on mine and it's now much more comfortable to shoot.

    It's official...

I felt the same way until I put a Hogue grip on mine. Don't lose much in the way of concealment and much more comfortable to shoot with maximum loads.

    Redhawk Backpacker

Thanks, Gramps. I had the 300 grainers for my 7 1/2 inch Redhawk that I've had for a couple of years. Just had to find our for myself how they worked in the snub. When I get over the sinus infection I've been fighting lately will try it with normal 240 loads. I really like the idea of having...

    Redhawk Backpacker

Bought one a couple of weeks ago. With Speer Short Barrel Gold Dots it is a joy to shoot. Tried some 300 gr. XTP's; First two weren't bad, next two hurt, last two went back in the box. Within reason, I think this is going to be a gun a shoot a lot.
