After I returned from S&W armorers school in1979 I purchased a set of Grace metal products hollow ground screw drivers and I still use them. I bought a LEO screw driver set from Brownells and twisted the size used S&W sideplate screws .Brownell bits are soft.

The tag could be RCR

The grips have a Herrett tag RSR. Could someone please advise what gun these would fit? I thought they might be for Speed Six or Police Six.

I had a low back Security Six. I looked for sometime and found a set of Herretts made for the low back.

When I went through the armorers school an old timer said to use 10/22 main spring. You may have to thin the width of the main spring strut.

I found this 4 inch blued 150 series revolver at a local shop. Honest wear, looks like holster wear. 150-16XXX looks like a first year production gun.

As you can see in the photos in first post ,the Manurhin model 88 had a Baughman style front sight. I had trouble seeing the sight so a friend of mine with a machine shop in his garage helped me change the front sight to a Patridge style.
