Watch your trigger finger position as well. If it isn't right, you may pull left or right and it may not be correct if your hand moves around a lot while firing multiple rounds.

I am looking to get a OWB holster for my Ruger American 9mm compact. Love the firearm and will be open carrying it. What do you have? What kind of retention does it have? Would you buy it again? I will be taking it to the store to try some out, but wanted a shorter list if I could.

I have the pro (non-safety) version and I have had one stove pipe in 550 rounds. Tulammo, steel case. The firearm was filthy after this ammo, so I won't purchase this again. Stinks you have had issues.
