Mine was more like 3-4 weeks from the time it left my house until it was returned. Once they started work the turn around was about a week. Not a big deal though and they give you a magazine for your trouble
So, I shipped my Mark IV back to Ruger and they received it on 8/11. On 8/22, I received the acknowledgement from Ruger that they received the lower. I've seen some posts that say about 3 days after the email from Ruger they received the lower in the mail.
My question is, does Ruger send...
I was beginning to think mine was lost based on the experience of others! I returned my Mark IV lower and it was deliver to Ruger on 8/11 and I heard nothing until today that they are now working on it. Based on other's experiences, I should have it back in my hands by Saturday or Monday!
I just received my email notice on Friday that they are shipping the box. They asked me to fill out a form to include in the box when I return it that asks for the RMA #. Is that the same as the order number on the email? I don't recall seeing a separate RMA #.
Hmmm......I don't recall the exact date I registered but I'm thinking it was the week of June 19th. I was out of town (without my Mark IV) after the recall notice and before the 19th. I haven't heard anything yet. Just for grins, I went back on Ruger.com to register again and I get a...
I bought mine a year ago. I shopped around and narrowed it down to the SW 642 or the SP101. IMHO, the SW is a horrible looking revolver so buying the 101 was a no brainer. It shoots like a champ and I have no regrets.
Bronco45, you're spot on with the HKS 36. I misinterpreted the package and thought I needed the 32-J. Sooooooo, Cabelas and the LGS may have had the right speedloader although I ordered from MidwayUSA and they took good care of me.
Lostsheep, good point on the 1911 mag. Ruger finishes...
and WOW! was I impressed with the accuracy. I thought I was pretty good with my P90 but shooting the .38 special, I tore up the middle of the target. I wasn't quite as accurate shooting the 158gr .357 but I only shot 15 rounds through it today so it should improve as I get more comfortable...
I just don't get it. IMHO, Ruger makes some of the finest handguns available. When I went shopping with virtually and unlimited budget, I've always been attracted to the Ruger for style, looks, price, and everything else. I bought a P90 and heard my friends go on and on about the Glocks...
