    I ended up ordering the Ruger rubber grip with wood inserts from shopruger. Hope they have a dark rosewood color. I'm like dannyd, I'll probably end up with most of them. I just can't help it.

    The Hogue Monogrip that comes on the GP100 is nice, but I'd like a little bit wider grip. The Match Champion wood grip looks great. Is this grip wider? How about the old santoprene with wood inserts?

    I did know FMJ wasn't suitable for hunting. PPU seems to be the only thing available online. I guess I'll have to visit local shops.

    The descriptions are basically the same. The firingpins.com has been out of stock for a while. I'm going to take a chance on this one from Accuracy.

    I was wondering about the quality of the extended firing pin these guys sell. I'm having some misfires with steel case ammo. The pin isn't cheap but if it is good quality I'll pay.

    And yet again with the idiot loop lever. Not everyone is bucking for their own Alaska TV show. Give us the normal lever option all the 1895's please.

    Meaning big loop, stainless, laminate? The big loops I can do without on all the levers. With shorter armlengths like mine, only your fingertips are touching the lever when it's fully open.
