I think it is Sid Bell. I got it from an employee that also had Sid Bell tie pins that were made for Ruger execs. The buckles were made for Ruger execs and not sold to the public as far as I know.
Thanks Terry, one of these days I'll have to get them all together and take another photo. The second from the bottom on the left is from Australia. The guy I got it from said he made it and was selling buckles at a Sporing Clays event in Vermont. That was the only Ruger buckle he had.
I couldn't find this model in the Blue Book that's why I posted here. The Blue Book says $675 for the wood stock model but since this is not list I thought maybe a little premium. Thanks for you input. I agree, some of their pricing is out of line.
Have a Ruger 77/17 RMP 98% with box and everything it originally came with. Asterisk marked serial number, came from Ruger's used gun list. I could not find this model listed in the Blue Book. Thinking of selling it and would like a current retail value. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
FYI, someone changed the bag, they didn't have the green bags in 1976. But that's a good thing, the green bags offer better protection against rust. Nice rifle and a good buy in my opinion. I have one just like it.
