I think I just figured it out. I wasn’t pushing the slide far enough to the rear. It’s got to be a minimum of 1/8 inch. Do that and it goes in fairly easy.

I bought a new LCP 2 22 and I like it except for trying to get that @&$ned slide pin back in during re-assembly. Took me half an hour to get it back in and my thumb is sore. What am I doing wrong?
