When I was comparing the LCR against the 642 I gripped the 642, looked at the proximity of the sharp, knurled cylinder release to my thumb knuckle, imagined what that release would do to my knuckle under recoil and immediately removed the 642/442 from consideration. O2

Aker B21. Nice, normal looking leather belt with a plastic insert to create a VERY stiff belt without adding weight and thickness. Order minimum 2" larger than your pants waist size, I'd go 4" over for an IWB holster. I get mine from Cops Plus. O2

When checking for "rotational" play make sure you cock the hammer, pull the trigger and lower the hammer and then, with the trigger held back, check for rotational play. That way you're checking the cylinder in its most important state -- when firing. O2
