    RUGER 57 Questions

My 57 is extremely accurate with the regular sights. I've been toying with a quality red dot on a G19 and so far I shoot better with irons. This is the exact opposite with rifles where I shoot good with irons but much better with a red dot.

NEW P345 45 AUTO. 2004 MODEL OPINIONS NEEDED PLEASE

I've had mine for a long time and like it quite a bit. I've even carried it from time to time. You can damage the firing pin if you dry fire it with the magazine removed which is why I removed the magazine safety from mine the second I got it home.

Anyone make grips like these for the GP100?

Thanks, but it's still not the same. If you look at the grips pictured they have a distinct shape top to bottom. I guess I'm just going to order a set from Eagle and cross my fingers.

Anyone make grips like these for the GP100?

I did look at those already and although they're nice, they're not the same design as the one's pictured above. The grips I'm talking about are closer to the Colt "coke" grips. If I can't find a similar set from another company I may have to roll the dice with Eagle.

Anyone make grips like these for the GP100?

I should of said I was asking about a GP100, but they do fit both models. The picture I added is a GP100 with their grips on it from their website and there's a few more at the link I provided. Again, Anyone can chime in if you've had these grips and didn't have to send them back multiple times...

Anyone make grips like these for the GP100?

I want grips just like what's linked and pictured below, but not from Eagle Grips. I've read too many horror stories of poor grip fitment with Eagle Grips, but I really want this style. Now if you bought these grips and they fit just fine, let me know. Does anyone know if there's another company...

Is The Ruger 57 Drop Safe / Safe to Carry?

I've seen similar or near identical warnings in many manuals, even pistols with firing pin blocks. I've read where Ruger themselves told someone over the phone that it is drop safe. I've carried 70 series 1911s for a long time and never second guessed carrying one. I don't ever see myself...

    Ruger P345 45 ACP

I still really like mine. I've carried it from time to time as well.

    Way to contribute.

    Ruger-57 5.7x28 pistol?

Your range should consider it a pistol caliber. My closest range is pistol caliber only and they allow it.

    Ruger-57 5.7x28 pistol?

It is strange. The threads on most forums talking about this pistol are much larger.

    Ruger-57 5.7x28 pistol?

It's listed on a few websites at $600-$650. All out of stock of course, but they supposedly had a few before they sold out. I'll wait until the hype dies down and get one at a normal price.
