Only P-series that I have is a P95 - no experience with any others (though I own 3 other Ruger handguns). Its been a good gun though. Was actually the first handgun I ever bought. The P345 certainly does appear to be the most evolved example of the series though.
When I bought my P95 circa 2002 I had the option to get any of the versions available. I had no idea what the difference was so I bought the "Manual Safety" version. Now knowing better I really, REALLY wish I'd gotten the Decocker. Of course, I suppose I should be thankful that I didn't buy...
Thanks - we will see. I got the pistol at a very good deal ($285 for the gun and two 10 round mags - I figure I'd get a third with the recall). I'll be happy however it comes back but after hearing about how nice the gen 3 triggers are I'd be a little envious :).

The SR9 standard is a larger duty sized gun. The SR9c is a compact model but still a double-stack, so its still just as thick; clothing in Pennsylvania probably would allow concealment of it though.
