    AR556, back from Ruger Repair a second time

    Round 1, the barrel nut was totally loose, sent it back to Ruger, it came back tight but the rifle would not cycle at all. Round 2, back to Ruger, on return they claim to have replaced the gas tube - but on closer inspection it looks like they actually replaced the whole front sight gas block...

    Oy - sorry you're having issues. Mine is back at the factory for a second time. Barrel nut spinningly loose so back it went - and when it came back it wouldn't function. Loose gas block would certainly give you some grief for cycling and accuracy. This is a rifle I would love to love -...

    I think you're right - it's another situation of "I could fix it faster here but it might cost some money" and "they messed it up they should fix it." I sent it off yesterday after a nice chat with a telephone CS rep. Still no response to the two online CS requests I've sent over the last week...
