I bought a new Ruger 10/22 and was also very disappointed in the factory trigger. The rifle weighed 5lbs 7oz scoped, the trigger pull was 5lbs 13oz. It does go bang when you pull the trigger but It sure doesn’t make for a very accurate gun when the trigger pull is over the weight of the rifle.
