Not sure what "sporty" means, but I wouldn't do it. Never have had a primer go bang while being seated, but it would only take one on a loaded round..................
I realize it's for a hunting rifle and will probably get banged up again, but is there a way to refinish that tip so it isn't
quite so noticeable? I have an Ultralight RLS in .270 Win., and that stock would work perfectly.
