    Why are all of Ruger's 9mms Polymer Frames Now?

    Quite off thread but one of my chemistry professors in college specialized in polymer research. The guy sitting next to me and I quickly figured out if we wanted a day off from what he was teaching, one of us would ask about his polymer research and off he went. No more studying for that day.

    Walmart 30 miles south of me had 5 boxes of 38 spec +P last Sunday. I looked 3 hours ago and they haven't even changed the way they were stacked( crooked) so I'm sure they are the same ones. Nothing new either.

    A farm couple from here used to work there. Darwin and Myra Jones . He took care of the horses and she might have taken care of a hotel or something. No motor vehicles she said. Walk, bike, or horse carriage apparently.

    Our last five cars have been Ford/Mercury models and our last three pickups are Ford also. Our motorcycles are Honda so I guess we go both ways.

    I saw an SR9 at a gun show a couple of weeks ago and, I have to admit, it didn't make me think "I have to have this."Down another aisle was an XDm 40.That did make me sit up but I would rather have the 9mm since I have a "few" boxes of that caliber already. It seemed to have a ' cool ' factor...
