Upon further research, the reloading data center at the Hodgdon Powder Co. website specifically calls for a WSPMagnum primer for this very bullet when using Titegroup powder. Furthermore, it calls for a Titegroup powder load of between 4.5 grains (starting load) and 5.0 grains (maximum grains)...

I am trying to load some 357 magnum 158 grain Oregon Trail SWC cast bullets. I will be using 4.2 grains of Titegroup powder. For that powder my load data says to use from a minimum of 3.8 grains up to a maximum of 4.4 grains so I am well within the powder range recommended.
