I love mine and have never found it uncomfortable to carry and shoot.

Love mine and even at 20 yards I can hit 18 of 20 in a body silhouette target. I have put a lot of ammo through mine, nothing to do 150 a week for a while, and have no complaints. It has some kick, sure, but tell me a gun that is that concealable with little recoil.

Here is one reason you may want to be able to exchange barrels/mags...Ammunition availability. Right now I see some 380 around, but almost no 9mm. I think have 380 rounds in my converted LC9 would be better than just throwing the gun at a BG because I can't find the ammo.

Really a personal preference on semi auto vs revolver. I carry the LC9 and love it.

I also use the Crossbreed. Never notice it myself and not even anyone in my family can tell when I am and am not carrying.

Can the slide be polished like some do on the barrels?

I just love the SR9. Shoots well and I have no problem concealing it. I always wear 2 layers one tucked around the IWB and then one out. It disappears no issue.
