Wayno, Could you tell me about that holster?

My stainless version measured .451 for the Colt cylinder and .4505 for the ACP. Both reamed to .4525 and shoot very well with cast.

Second Dale53's advice on RL-7. Using that powder to drive a 420 cast in my Marlin 1895SS. Mine has the micro groove barrel.

If your shooting cast fit the bullet to the cylinder throats.

Here's what I do. I run my alloy temp just below or at 700 degrees. When I start the melting process I place my mold or molds on a hot plate on medium. By the time my alloy is ready my molds are preheated. Most times I'm dropping perfect boolits on the first cast or two. Hope this helps you.

Throats on my Ruger Blackhawk go .455 so that's what I size my bullets to.

Looking at the SR sourdough and while looking at the list of guns I see a BH 4 5/8 bbl available. Will this fit the smaller Lipsey's blackhawks?
