Can a P85 MK II slide (and guts) be mated to a regular P85 Frame (and guts)? Thanks in advance for any help!

I have two P-85's that have the safety recall work done on them. The first one, I took to the Police Range to qualify (off duty) with it and it would not fire.....nothing, but light strikes. For some reason, I love this pistol, so I bought another one. I had totally taken-down and reassembled...

Ah, Thanks for the reminder, I'll replace the carry mag with the metal floor plate and keep the two plastic ones in the mag pouch. Did all of the P85's have the lanyard ring at the end of the mainspring housing? The pics don't do it justice, but I nailed the colors....Duracoat Dark Gray...
