    Ruger Customer Servive Experience

I have had and now havea good number of Ruger guns starting with a stainless Security Six that I bought in 1977. I have rarely dealt with Ruger CS because I've never had a problem with any of the Rugers I have owned. I still have my 1977 Security Six and it runs as good as the day I got it and...

    Kirst in 45acp.

I've had one in .45 Colt for a few years and it gives my Old Army some added capability. It is not designed for ammo any hotter than cowboy loads. It takes a while to take it apart, knock out the brass, reload it and put it back together...But it's easier than loading powder, balls and...

    Shorty Redhawk Holster

A good friend gave me a Simply Rugged Sourdough holster for a new Ruger 4"Redhawk .44...It included their Chesty Puller harness to convert the belt holster to a chest rig...I find it works well for stong side and crossdraw on a good belt and in the chest rig...I did't get the RH for concealed...

    Jingling Ejector Rod

Thanks for the replies. It's definitely the ejector rod. I know about the transfer bar rattling and can hear that also but its less noticeable. I tried putting some Frog Lube at the base of the rod and it reduced the noise. It's still there but not a ringing sound...I sent an inquiry to Ruger CS...

    Jingling Ejector Rod

I have a new four inch Redhawk. I know the ejector rod is not locked when the cylinder is locked in the frame and it does normally have some wiggle to it but the one on this revolver rattles around inside the shroud and make a sound like a tiny bell. It doesn't effect the operation of this gun...

    Opinions on the Security-Six

I have the four inch stainless Security Six I bought new in 1977. I also have the original black and red box...I carried it in lieu of the issued S&W M10 on my first job as a LEO. I think I paid around $170 for it. It served as a duty weapon, house gun, camping/hiking/woods bumming revolver. It...

Came across a nice Bisley Hunter!

Very nice!...I'm going to be trading a Glock for a like new one of those tomorrow. I always liked the Hunters but the Bisley is the one I have really wanted since I found out they were being produced. I haven't done any handgun hunting for several years. I wanted one of these to develop loads...

Ruger 77/44 general and reloading question

I traded for a new 77/44 a few months ago. It's been to the range twice. The trigger breaks cleanly with no cheap or brightness at about five pounds. That's satisfactory for a handy utility/brush rifle. I view 100 yrs as maximum for such a rifle and I can get around three inches with mine with...

    SP101 in .32 H&R Mag?

Hello All...I came across a SP101 in .32 H&R Mag in the used case in a local shop. I like the cartridge and load it. I have desired one of these for some years but never found one when I had the $ and never had the $ when I came across one. This one is in great condition with all that it came...
