I did examine both cylinders to see if one matched the markings normally seen on a magnum cylinder. One cylinder did appear to have an "M" crudely scratched on the front face, nothing else. The rear face was flat. I note this because the rear face on the other cylinder was recessed about 1/8"...

Has anyone found rust under their magazine release button? A guy on another forum has reported finding some on three Rugers.
