I received a mag carrier made by Mick for my SR9c. The carrier looks and feels very durable. The belt hook is adjustable for IWB or OWB carry. Extra hardware (screws and rubber washers) were included in the package, as were detailed instructions. My magazine fit the carrier well. Thumbs up.

I can speak only to hand loading for the SR40. I would feel fairly confident that the results would be similar for the XD40 pistol.

The shortage has forced me to choose between two shooting competitions. Usually it's sporter rifle (.22) indoors from September to March and Silhouette outdoors during the summer. No Silhouette shooting for me...I only have enough .22 for sporter rifle in the fall. And then who knows?

For pheasant-tail bodied flies I lay down a nice thread base and a light coating of clear nail polish before I wrap, like Jeff said. I tend not to counter-wrap with wire even though the nymph doesn't last as long...it's just a visual thing for me; I like the neat, segmented look I can get...
I recently received a shipment of plated .40 caliber 155 grain bullets from Berry's (www.berrysmfg.com).
From the date of order to the date of shipment was about 4 weeks. They posted a notice on their web page that they are taking orders but shipment will be delayed due to the volume of orders...
