Old guy can't see selling my Single Six

Nobody wants to pay what is worth. 1960 is the only year that Ruger made a pure .22LR Single Six with walnut grips in a 4 5/8 inch barrel. I will continue to oil it and give it a little love every now and then. It will only appreciate in value. So I will not sell it at this time. Thanks all.

Old guy can't see selling my Single Six

Morning all. I have a unmodified Single Six, shipped as a RSSW4 in May of 1960 for sale. Little barrel rub, locks up tight, shoots great and no known issues. I just found out yesterday that 1960 was the only year they made it with a 4 5/8 inch barrel. Any idea what it is worth? Never sold a gun...

    Kudos to Ruger Customer Care

In my opinion, no body beats Ruger customer service. Finally got me a Single Six, my first, and thought I had a problem. Called them, they got my head straight and then "begged" me to sent it in for the "upgrade", mine is a 3 screw made in 1960. Then I got a cherry Mark II Target Model, made in...

    ruger or browning?.....

You asked so here goes. Guess I'm like the "old hippie song" just too old to change. Always thought Browning was overpriced and in my opinion, no one does customer service better than Ruger. I love my Mark II Target Model, made in 1988 and with my old 66 year old eyes, I guess I'm blessed, as I...

    Whenever I clean my 10/22...

Me too, I am like Forrest, I love cutting grass and cleaning guns, Yes Drill Sergeant! I always used a small flat tip screwdriver to get the bolt back in the 10/22, after the recoil spring.

Rugers Mark l - ll - lll Disassembly

I don't have any problem, other than having to use a plastic mallet on the upper and lower. Takes me about three minutes to disassemble and reassemble it.

    Whenever I clean my 10/22...

I'm 66 years old and have owned a ton of 10/22's down thru time. Never had a problem tearing one down or putting it back together, ditto with my Mark II Target Model, circa 1988. My Dad always taught me to clean guns after use, and my time in the Army reinforced that. Just MHO.

Old Model Single Six at the range.

Finally got a chance to take my newly acquired Old Model Single Six to the range yesterday. Man, what a sweet trigger for a pistol that was made in 1961. I thought I had a problem with it, but Ruger Customer Service got my mind right. After that, the Ruger dude nearly begged me to send it in for...
