I have the same holster in my cart for my 4" SP, but debating on a cross draw for the 4" before I 'pull the trigger' on it. Can't even imagine trying to put a 3" in the pants I wear, let alone a 4" (mostly jeans), but I'm only about 5'6"

AS far as what might fall off, my guess would be the real sight leaf. My NIB 4.2" SP101 had the rear sight leaf was in the bag loose when I picked the gun up
I've been a Ruger revolver fan all my life, and have been bitten by the bug again recently, mainly SPs and GPs, particularly in ,327 Fed Mag. Hopefully I'll learn something here and maybe even contribute something useful now and again
