I have a Lipsey's MK4. Love the weight and balance of the gun. The rosewood grips feel good in the hand and with no thumb rest I can use either hand to shoot. And the gold coating on the trigger makes for a slick two pound trigger.
I had Cas do my cylinder. So happy I did. The gun now shoots great and I was able to shoot a bullseye match with it and score a 268 out of 300. Before the reaming I was lucky to keep any lead on paper.
I bought one after every gun shop told me I wouldn't get a Ruger any time soon. It has been working great and had some issues with feed ing but is breaking in fine.
There is a slight difference in the way they mags sit in the mag well and the angle of feed. I have trouble with 10/22 mags in my 77/22. Also had a 77/22 mag get stuck in the 10/22.
Are those the factory grips or are they aftermarket VZ's ??
Also ... is that frame olive drab green ? Or does it just look that way because of the lighting ?
All it needs is a long trigger to go with that flat MSH and it would be to my exact specs !!! :D

This is a limited edition...
I was just in a gun store today that said the same thing as was told to Gary T.
All the stores around here won't even order one for me. I was even told that Ruger was losing money on the SR1911. So what is the truth?
Thats not a man cave, it's a scream for an intervention.
No wonder I can't find a No. 1.
I'll be over next week for the intervention to help you let go of you obssesion.
I am really going to enjoy hanging out in your cave.
I have been using mineral oil on my stag knife grips for years. When I was carrying my stockman knife everyday there was no problem with the grips. Once I change knives I found that the stag was drying out. The mineral oil was suggested on a knife forum. Come to think about it, it is about time...
