Looking at a used Ruger Bisley flat top in 44 special.
Probably 98-99%, no box or papers.
What are these going for these days.
Forgot to get the Serial Number.
Thank you.
Wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the rimfire section but decided to give it a try here first. I've got a 1975 10-22 S/N 115-258XX. Well I kind of have one. Nice walnut carbine stock, metal butt plate and barrel band. Real clean, only a slight mark or two. The only issue, and it is a...
Well I guess the Hanen must be pretty valuable. The store owner told me today he turned down $600.00 from an in store customer and a $1000.00 online offer. The stock on this one must be filled with gold not lead. I told him if he really wanted to find out what it is worth, he should put it on...
Got a call from the local gun store telling me he had an unusual 10-22 that he bought as part of an estate. It is a "Hanen Sportsman" as described on page 218 of Wm E. Workman's book on the 10-22. It has a lead filled Overton carbine stock, with the Hanen Sportsman logo stamped on the barrel...
Found my Workman book. He states the range is 43908 through 110-78890.
He says a high end exception may be is 110-94735.
Rod, looks like your 110-96368 is an even higher high end exception.
Congratulations.
Thanks Rod,
I have a Finger Groove "parts kit" I need to do something with.
A few years ago I acquired the "parts kit", everything but the receiver, that I need to do something with. I believe that the original receiver was destroyed by law enforcement and the parts auctioned to a company that...
I haven't been able to find my Workman book for some time, or I would look it up myself, so.....
Can some one here tell me what the serial number range is for the 10-22 fingergroove.
Thank you.
I have been thinking of getting either a Ruger 22/45 Lite, or a Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite upper receiver barrel assembly to install on a Ruger Mark frame. Does anybody have any experience with either one of these or both? How well do they shoot? Do they balance well and feel good in the...
I have this problem on a carbine. I think the wood under the escutcheon was soft and compressing under recoil eventually loosening the screw. I would tighten it up and it would loosen again eventually pulling the escutcheon further into the wood. I decided to apply a little purple locktite to...
