Picked up a new 3 inch LCRX 38 Special. Have been dry firing it a bunch with snap caps. Trigger feels good, smooth, maybe 6/7 pounds. I think this is a keeper. My speed loader from my LCR work good so there is no cost there. I think I will keep this for home defense and load with 150 gr Buffalo...
Loaded the LCR9mm with snap caps for testing and indoor practice. Did not use the moon clips. Seamed to work ok. Do I need to use the moon clips for actual firing if I don't want too? Pistol feels just like the 22 Mag in trigger pull.
djw54, thanks for the info on extra moon clips!
Just picked up the LCRS 9 mm. Trigger very smooth. Where can I get extra "clips" for the bullets? Read the above range report, any else put a lot of ammo thru theirs? Any one have problems thru theirs? Cannot wait to get to the range.
Thanks to rum runner and hittman I have ordered a Cuda this morning from Simply Rugged. Now I want to replace the grips with something smaller for CCW. Like the rubber but they print. Suggestions?
I am new to this problem. I have the SP101 in 327 mag, serial nbr 574-066XX. Do I have a problem? I have never fired this thing and it's been under the sofa in the living room in a self defense mode. What should I do?
Hey troops, thanks for the suggestions. I have some CCI that I use in my Sig 226 .22 and I will try it in the Ruger .22. My thought for this Ruger is put it in my jacket pocket when I make a run to Subway Sandwich with out loading up with armor. I could use my LCR 38 though. The model 19 2 1/2...
Thanks for the tip, Snake. I think I go another 50 or 100 rounds and if it is not right I will send it to Ruger for a fix. Any suggestion for a SD round. I shot Winchester ammo, grain ? No lead, brass bullet.
:( I purchased my LCR22 Sunday. Took it to the range this morning. When emptying the cylinder, the empties stuck and had to be hit hard to fall. One cylinder was worse than the other 8. What is the correction? Thanks in advance. :(
