Have a Ruger 96 22 mag missing the barrel band and they are no longer available. 10-22 bands do not fit. My question is has anybody cut the tip off where the band comes off and re-shaped it. If you have could you share a picture of it thanks

Need a barrel band for a Ruger 96 22 Mag. They are a bit different than the 10-22 band. The 22mag band is shorter. thanks

Is anyone running a 6.5 CM load with Berger 140 backed with 41.5 gns of H 4350 and Fed match primer in Hornady & Peterson brass?? this is a bit over the top and was wondering if it was ok in this rifle. Shot a few and don't see any pressure signs. Shoots great but as I said it is a gn over max...
