I've got a birdshead in .45 ACP... I was really surprised at how good it feels in the hand. My NV in .357 with the X3 grip just doesn't seem as comfortable.

In the end, as I see it, it's not different than a T/C Contender. You can put what ever (legal) barrel chambered in your choice of caliber. ie, I bought a 10" 22LR version, and I have a 12" 44mag barrel also. No issues.
I like it, but there are more compact ones. for a little bit over that I went with the Foxx "little fox". Love it for my Ruger and Glock. Extremely comfortable. The Alien Gear is just a little less so.
Picked one up last Thursday here in SoCal. It has the bullet button for California. It looks well made and the finish is very good on this model. Haven't had a chance to break it in yet, hoping this next weekend. IMO, this rifle is very tight. No rattles that I can hear.
