P95 doesn't lock open after last shot...

Should have mentioned in my original post that the gun does lock open on an empty magazine. Both magazines are factory.

P95 doesn't lock open after last shot...

Recently bought a P95. Had it out for the first time this morning and was disappointed to find that the slide is not locking open after the last shot. It's a 312 series gun with two 10-shot magazines. Malfunction occurs with either one. Anything I should look for? Thanks for any help! Mike

    Gotta love a flea market

$300 with a real scope? Dang! What a deal... Had one that I bought new back in the early 80's. Naturally, I wish I still had it. (Appears that the forearm was shortened just about where the barrel band would be. Still a grand little rifle!)

In need of Harrington & Richardson expert/historian

Don't assume that it's chambered for 2-3/4 inch shells. Early 16 gauge guns had 2-9/16" chambers. (A lot of old Browning autoloaders had their chambers lengthened when the 2-9/16" became hard to find. I believe Simmons used to advertise this service.) At any rate, I just measured an old unfired...
