I just picked one up. I read on Glocktalk to lock the slide back so I did that and let it sit in the safe for 5 days like that. Took it to the range and ran 50 rounds of blazer brass through it without a malfunction. I need to run some hollowpoint through it but I can't find any.

I got mine back in June brand new off gunbroker. I took it to the range and it would not chamber a round without force. It was etching the brass in a bad way. I called Ruger and they had UPS pick it up the next day at my house. 5 days later I had a new upper and a couple of free mags back...

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy a 5 gallon bucket, lid and a bag of sand. Fill the bucket with the bag of sand (don't even have to empty the bag) and you can clear or load your guns at the bucket. Beats shooting someone when an AD happens.

I have a near new Glock 19RTF2. It has 150 rounds through it with 2 mags and case. I am looking to trade if for a Ruger PC9 in same condition. FTF Northern and Central Virginia. Not interested in selling. Going to keep it no trade hits.

I would look for a Ruger 10/22 with a compact barrel and utilize the suggestion to cut the stock down or get a Hogue Youth Stock. The one round magazine or loading one round in each magazine is also the way to go.
