    Lubricants

I use LSA on AR style rifles. I use Lubriplate No. 130-A grease on M-1 rifles. Sometimes I use a little of both on each. Wilson Ultimate Lube goes on pistols sometimes too, but a bottle of cheap automatic transmission fluid is about the same thing. I tend to get a good amount of oil or grease...

    P 85?

    That's Sucko for ya.

    P 85?

In Firearms News. No p85 mags listed there. Maybe you have to buy the gun from the magazine, and the gun's magazine online?

    P 85?

What about the $165 P85 pistols at Sarco? Any of you purchased one? They've been in there forever. Are they junk or just not plastic enough for the modern pistol buyer? Also, they say "magazine not included." Will a P89 mag work in an old P85?

    New Ruger .22 Revolver Introduced

Academy price $199.99 here in middle of country. They're selling fast. Mostly to old guys like me. I almost got a 2003, but am holding up for a 2004. I don't need it and will probably loose interest in it a week later, but it is just something I gotta have!

    PC Carbine Volq trigger upgrade

Where is info on 10/20 trigger components swap? Cool that you are installing Volquartson stuff. Works very well, I'm told.

A new non-Ruger companion piece for the PCC.

Might be the .40 version of the G43. The PCC and the 19x are good companions, I think.

    Spotting Scope

I have been looking at them too. It looks to me like you can get something cheap that really isn't good enough, or get a really good scope for hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Danged either way. With a cheap 60x 60mm, I really have trouble seeing .223 at 300yds. .30 and 8mm are easy...

    AR-556

Shot one the other day. Worked well, doesn't have that weird A2 pointy thing in the front of the grip. Felt pretty good, but it was brand new. After a few trips to the range, it'll be even better. I want to get a Weaver Extreme 1- 4.5x scope. That and a Turner All Weather and it's business as usual!

    Velocity PC carbine

Yep, I always wanted a Model 92 in .357, but this handy little Ruger in 9mm saves a lot of money over .38, .357 or 10mm (which might shoot .40 too.)....and it's self-loading. I went out Saturday afternoon and engaged multiple targets out to 50 yds as fast as I could do. It was interesting to see...

Help needed Ruger pc9 bolt stop

I couldn't tell the coil spring's ends being any different from one end or other. Look up in the bottom of the trigger group to see the hole it goes in. Insert the spring, then the lever (so it is situated the same as it was prior to disassembly), then pin it back together. Really it is pretty...

WT, Good news, ? PC9 PICTURES ADDED

Two inches high at 25yds is a bit higher at 50yds- not too bad at a hundred though. I have trouble with any kind of open sights. They tell me to get a little scope. I think it would be kind of cool. Fun carbine to shoot. Fired it w GLOCK mags yesterday. Worked well.

    Time of Flight

I just used "Time of Flight" because it was the first thing that came to mind. It ain't like a .223 though, you can almost count how long it takes to get to the ram (and the "clunk" to get back!) That's kind of what I was about  I'm gonna go out there on the next levergun shoot and plink...

Loose pins falling out on PC9 Carbines

Pin fell out of trigger group and let the slide stop and it's spring fall out on the table. Just take a little care with the constituent sub-assemblies when assembling/disassembling. I don't have anything loose or falling out on mine yet.

    Time of Flight

Thank you for the replies- good info. Had my PCC out twice now. One hundred yards really isn't that far for it. Cleaned it today, and other than inadvertantly dropping the slide stop out of the trigger group when reassembling, it went off without a hitch. These carbines work, shoot and maintain...
