This boy passed away thru the night.
And being Native American, with a traditional Native family, this becomes a very busy time for all of them.

Consider it done.An extended family person, just 13 years old, has been battling leukemia for quite awhile. We're told it's a losing battle, but the young boy has vowed to fight it and beat it.
Very recently, the Doctors have said there's absolutely nothing left in treatment other than for comfort, and the family should take him home. His birthday is close, and he was to have a birthday party. He was home less than a day, and struggled so badly he had to be taken to a nursing home. He is not expected to survive the night.
This is so sad, and there has been so much family taking turns to be with him, 3 hours away in the big city. And where he's been, the Ronald McDonald house has been wonderful for the family.
Oh please include him and the family in your Prayers.

Just saw this. Thoughts and prayers for the family. Losing a child is one of the worst things a parent can endure. Having lost my only child after 10 months in a coma I know the feeling of loss all too well. He now dwells with The Great Spirit in the land of no pain and Eternal Life.
I'm so sorry to hear that. It's heart breaking for the family to deal with this. Praying for strength for the family and you Wayno!!!
I'm so sorry Wayno. I just saw this thread, and while it's too late to pray for the boy, prayers sent for his family and friends. I truly hope he passed peacefully and is now with the Lord.
